Field to Market’s Fieldprint Projects harnesses the power of collaboration across the agricultural value chain to implement locally-led conservation solutions and deliver sustainable outcomes through member-led continuous improvement projects.

What are Fieldprint Projects:  

A Project registered in the Field to Market Project Directory, in compliance with the Fieldprint Project Standard. Projects:  

  • Documents members efforts to support grower adoption of sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices.  
  • Is a flexible & credible story-telling opportunity of positive outcomes.  
  • Facilitates collective action to meet sustainability goals.

Basic Requirements for Fieldprint Projects

The Fieldprint Project Standard (the Standard) defines clear expectations for project implementation to underline the credibility and rigor of our members’ efforts to improve environmental outcomes and create shared value that enhances farmer livelihoods. 

Projects must:  

  • Be led by full members of Field to Market 
  • Have Multi-Stakeholder Participation (learn more about working with implementation partners and grower outreach
  • Give a public commitment to sustainable agriculture by registering in our Fieldprint Project Directory 
  • Set SMART Objectives for their project (learn more on goals and objectives with our guidance
  • Develop a Continuous Improvement Plan 
  • Commit to tracking progress and providing annual updates for each year the project is active 
  • Take place in the Continental US, focusing on a grain-shed, supplier shed, watershed, county state or multistate region  
  • Focus on agricultural improvements for Field to Market supported crops and indicators 
  • Choose one of our project pathways (Incubation, Insight or Innovation)  
  • Required for insight and innovation projects: use the Fieldprint Platform directly or with a QDMP to measure Field to Market’s eight environmental outcomes.  

It is also recommended that each project enroll at least 10 growers in a project.
